“The brakes automatically engage without cause. The problem occurs at both city and highway speeds, from 20-75 mph. It is particularly bad when passing underneath a bridge. The car will abruptly stop. This has been ongoing for monthes. Sometimes, the vehicle will act inappropriately when the brake is applied by the driver. The car will attempt to accelerate. Other times the car will hard brake as if slamming the brakes.”
