Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“At random intervals, the engine fan go into a 'roar' at 100% RPM and not stop until the car is shut off. This occurs regardless of the outside temperature (summer at 90f, winter at 30f aka just now). The fan noise is not proportional to the engine RPM and remains constant once it starts. The car can be shut off completely and immediately started and the fan will be reset and silent, sometimes for the rest of the day. The jet-engine sound from the fan is not fixed by turning the car off and on, just reset to the next daily occurrence. …”

“When coming to a stop the or even when trying to pull out the vehicle will shut off and you have to turn the car off to restart it and then switch back to drive and then the vehicle will go but it may turn off again if coming to a stop.”
