“This RV was equipped from the factory with an axle on which was a sticker stating that the axle had a D35 Capacity of 3500 lbs. The RV also has a sticker stating that the GVWR is 4200 lbs and the weight of this recreational vehicle trailer as completed at the factory with full propane cylinder(s) and full generator fuel if applicable is 1624 kg OR (3582 Lbs.) To my understanding, this means that the curb weight of the RV exceeds that of the axle capacity. The GVWR of the RV also exceeds that of the axle capacity. …”
NHTSA complaint #11673653, filed 2025-07“– Electrical fire is possible at the wiring (12V and 110V) connecting the slide out room to the main trailer body. Closing the slide is jamming the wires between two metal flaps resulting in wire jacket damage and exposing the wires under power. – The 110V hot wire was damaged by another part mounted to the trailer frame resulting in shortening hot wire to the frame, spark and burning of electrical wire in she short proximity of combustible underbelly insulation material. – The dealer has not been contacted. – The vehicle was not inspected. …”
