2017 Jayco Precept Technical Service Bulletins

12 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2017 Jayco Precept. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10165698Sep 30, 2019Engine cooling. Units built on a Ford F53 2014-2020 chassis require an inspection of the engine air cleaner main inlet and the front -facing portion of the air cleaner for an article in these areas. When found, removal is required.

Girard Water heater requires inspection for possible replacement of the gas valve. - an intermittent occurrence when the gas valve is not openig to light the burner of the water heater. Confirmation of old valve to be replaced is when inspection finds solid balck solenoids . New valve will have white rings around the top of each solenoid and does NOT require replacement.
• 10125530Aug 1, 2016Electrical system. JBL radio was to feature Apple Car Play and Android Auto which would allow a phone to connect to the radio - certification process did not happen. To compensate for the lack of this feature, provided a Rand McNally Portable Plug N Play GPS at no charge.
