Example complaints

Steering: “We received the two recall notice letters from Ford Motor Company, 20V795 & 22V089, for our 2021 Jayco Redhawk class C RV. Upon receiving the first recall notice, 20V795, an appointment was made with our local Ford Dealer, Spradley Ford Lincoln Mercury, in Pueblo, CO, on Oct 1, 2021 to have it inspected and recall taken care of. Upon arrival that morning, was told they did not have the parts, would have to order them & their technician just called in sick . …”

NHTSA complaint #11460299, filed 2022-04

Brakes: “I was driving slowly looking for an open gas station on a highwsy in Va. i attempted to make a left hand turn when i heard a snapping sound. I then had a complete loss of power steering and braking capacity. I started rolling across the highway mashing the brakes and finally put my Ebrake on stopping my RV. There were not any lights lit up on the dashboard before or after this incident. If i was going 70 down a busy highway, the outcome of this incident would be much different. My children would be planning my funeral today.”

NHTSA complaint #11452684, filed 2022-02

Body and structure: “The contact owns a 2021 Jayco Redhawk RV. The contact stated that after the RV was purchased, he heard a loud squeaky sound coming from the rear door. There were no warning lights illuminated. The RV was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be replicated; however, the contact was informed by the dealer that the door was previously replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the RV did not have a failure. The failure mileage was approximately 9,000. The VIN was unavailable.”
