Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I bought a used 1994 Jeep. My husband took it to work and proceeded to back out of our garage when the car took off backwards full throttle in reverse. There were two recalls on this vehicle, neither were done by original owner. I have had one of the two done and am awaiting parts for the other procedure. This is a real problem and not sensationalism by the news people. People need to follow up on their recalls and know what to do if this happens to them. Once is too much.”
