2013: “My bike coming to a stop will stall out. Slowing down, engaging the clutch to downshift to first gear and the RPM will drop too low and stall the bike out while moving. It will also do it holding in the clutch coming to a stop if it doesn't dropping to first gear. I have read of the issue being resolved after putting in a newer Kawasaki ecu. Zx6r made before june 2013 seem to have these issues and changing out the computer seems to be the fix but Kawasaki will not recall it. …”

2009: “I was headed to work. I made a right hand turn toward the interstate then my dash went blank. I tried to give the bike gas and it just bogged down then in jerked me forward then it came to a complete stop. I tried to cut the bike on and it would turn over the starter. So that following week I bought a brand new battery I put it in the bike it fired up quickly but I didn't ride long just around the block a few times. The next day I tried to ride and the dash went blank again then the bike cut off on me again.”

2025: “2days after I bought this bike Kawasaki issued a stop sale and DNR due to faulty #5 crank bushing, and refused to buy the bike back but instead expected me to sit and pay payments and insurance on a bike that I can’t ride for possibly a year with no fix in mind so I had to trade it in and take a big loss on a brand new bike, kiss off Kawasaki that will be my last purchase from you.”
