The motorcycle intermittently stalls while slowing down, example pulling in the clutch while approaching a stop sign the engine will stall. This happens primarily within about the first 5 minutes of starting the engine, but has also happen when the engine is at normal operating temperatures. The motorcycle will generally restart as soon as the clutch is let back out however if speed is to slow use of the starter is necessary to restart the motorcycle. The motorcycle has been in the shop several times and has had several excuses (computer) in it. …”

This stalling usually occurs within 5 minutes of starting motorcycle, however it has also happened at normal operating temperature. The starter needs to be used to restart motorcycle after stalling. This is a safety issue as a stalled motorcycle leaves the rider vulnerable to other vehicles on the road. This is a very well documented issue among riders of this motorcycle and Kawasaki has been contacted. There is yet to be a fix to the problem. …”
