“The front passenger wheel fractured completely around the wheel after driving over a pothole at a slow speed causing the driver to lose control over the vehicle. This nearly caused an accident. All 4 wheels on the vehicle were replaced in july 2014 due to a Kia factory safety recall number sc107. The vehicle is not safe to drive since the factory recall replacement wheels are also fracturing identical to the oem installed 19in. Non chrome premium wheels.the vehicle was traveling at about 25mph on fox mill road northbound between fox view road and fairfax county parkway in fairfax county va. …”
NHTSA complaint #10788551, filed 2015-11, 24,950 miles“The rear wheel cracked and I had to have it repaired, and the vehicle has been making a ticking noise for 3 years and the Dealer in Colorado Springs told me don’t worry about it , it was a common noise, that was 2020. Now I have found out that the tension pulley and/or the timing tension pulley is bad . How is this a common problem? They want to replace my engine. Not to mention the problem that all KIA’S have the steering coupler that is going out. How are these not all recall problems as I have found on your site multiple complaints of the same nature.”
