“I was coming of the freeway when all of a sudden my car just turned itself off. Luckily I was able to manage to pull over to the side quickly enough to avoid any collision. I tried to change the starter because I was told that was bad. It hasn't been able to start up again since it first stopped on me.”

NHTSA complaint #11292117, filed 2019-12, 156,000 miles

“I was driving around 45 miles and hybrid system warning, safely stop and do not drive. This happened about 3 more times on the way to the dealership. Brought it to the dealer told me to replace the battery. The sign came back up after about 30 minutes of driving.”

NHTSA complaint #11184664, filed 2019-03, 99,900 miles

“Whenever trying to fuel my vehicle, the pump would click off within seconds. I would have to stand holding the pump and reclick the pump over and over. This process would take 10 to 15 minutes to fuel the vehicle. After several trips to the Kia dealer trying to get this fixed. They eventually replaced the whole fuel system. From time to time, while pumping gas, I still have to stand by the pump because the fuel pump will click up as if my tank is full.”
