2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport Technical Service Bulletins
579 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.
- 10116183May 5, 2017Brakes. Issue: During standard vehicle operation, it may be possible that customers driving RR Evoque or LR Discovery Sport vehicles may observe noises from the braking system. Although the noises do not, in most cases, indicate a degradation in functionality or braking performance, they may lead to customer dissatisfaction and unscheduled retailer visits for repair action.
- 10116182May 5, 2017Visibility (wipers, defrost, mirrors). Issue: Exterior rear view mirrors are being replaced unnecessarily.
- 10116185May 4, 2017Brakes. Issue: 15-17MY LR Discovery Sport (L550) and 16-17MY RR Evoque (L538) customers may complain of a 'Squeal' or 'Squeak' from the front brake system with light brake applications during low speed driving or manoeuvring. The complaint is most noticeable when vehicles are initially driven from cold start in cold ambient temperatures and the noise generally dissipates when the brakes have warmed up.
- 10116186May 2, 2017Wheels, Steering. Issue: The customer may express a concern that the heat distributed across the surface area of their heated steering wheel is inconsistent. The areas around the stitching and spokes, or the lower half of the steering wheel, may appear cooler than the rest of the wheel. The heated steering wheel is otherwise operating correctly, and no DTCs are stored.
- 10116184May 1, 2017Body and structure. SITUATION: A ticking noise may be evident from the 'B' pillar area.
- 10116181May 1, 2017Electrical system. SITUATION: The Park Assist system may exhibit intermittent operation. During a semi-automated park assist manoeuver, the system may be cancelled half way through due to an object being detected within 30 cm of the side of the vehicle. The system will then output a continuous tone and the message 'Park Assist Cancelled' will be displayed on the Instrument Cluster.
