“Cpo 2013 es350 bought january 2, 2016 at Lexus dealership, which has been kept in an in-door garage, and is lightly driven. Mid-april 2017 battery was dead, jump started but then battery died the next day. I brought vehicle to another Lexus dealership on may 20, 2017. They claimed battery not warrantied. I discovered the original owner who bought car october 2012 had replaced the battery in 2015 which made me curious as to why it was replaced so soon, and why it didn't last very long. …”

NHTSA complaint #10990881, filed 2017-05, 50,300 miles

“This is the second time in two years the battery has died on this car. The first time was august 2014, just one month past the car one year mark. The second, that is why I am writing this complaint, is almost one year to the day of the last battery failure. While the first may be written off as a bad battery, I do not believe in coincidences and feel there is an electrical problem with this car. I have seen other complaints on-line so I think there is something more to this problem than just bad batteries...updated 09/03/15 updated 12/4/2015”

NHTSA complaint #10735558, filed 2015-07, 17,500 miles

“Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2013 Lexus ES350. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale on Facebook Marketplace. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 127,000; however, a Carfax vehicle history reported the mileage at 199,000.”

NHTSA complaint #11749260, filed 2026-07, 199,000 miles

“I was driving down the highway coming up on a traffic jam put on the brakes and several warning. Lights came on the dash and my power brakes failed. I was barely able to stop the car without hitting someone. From that point forward the brakes did not work properly, the regenerative braking system did not function. also, the cruise control stopped functioning. …”

NHTSA complaint #11555537, filed 2023-11

“The automatic door locks have stopped working. I have had to replace 3 out of the 4 door lock actuators in the car. When they go out I am unable to use the door lock sensors and have to manually lock my doors. It also affects my ability to use the key fob remote to lock and unlock my door. I replaced 2 in 2018 and 1 in 2021”
