“I have a 2006 Lexus GX470 that the dashboard is cracking everywhere. It's just not my Lexus that have this problem. Everyone I know that have this SUV have the same problem. Lexus is not doing anything to fix this problem. It is the manufacturer defect that needs to be fix. Everyday I see more crack shows up in different places. I believe one day this dashboard is going to come apart. It isn't very safe for anybody.”

The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v056000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the recall repair were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.”
