“At approximately 2:00 pm on jan. 5, 2020, I was driving my 2006 Lexus LS 430 in a residential area in bethesda, md. I decided to turn around. I turned right into a driveway (at a low speed) with the brake pedal applied. Suddenly, and without warning, the car accelerated wildly, making a great deal of engine noise, as the throttle appeared to be wide open. Thankfully I hit a near-by tree and two front air bags deployed. A homeowner called the police, and an ambulance took me to the emergency room at a nearby hospital. …”

I have also noticed my interior door panels are starting to haze with a white film on them. I have taken extreme care with this vehicle as it receives all the normal maintenance and every 3 weeks a full detail inside and out. I thought it was the chemicals being utilized by the detailers, and I asked they stop using chemicals and only use soap and water. I later found after speaking with them that it is common in a lot of Lexus sedans. …”
