2004 Lexus LS430 Exterior lighting Problems

“I hit a large dog while driving one night and busted my front bumper on the passenger side pertly good. Had bumper, fog lights replaced, car looks dam good. Since I am an older person, retired and drive mostly during the day, it was a while before I noticed my bright lights shine directly on the ground about 20 to 30 feet in front of the car . I have had the charleston sc Lexus dealer try to eliminate the problem. They told me I would have to replace the headlight. …”

“I would like to complain about the new blue hid headlights on some cars. The glare I experience from this is terrible. If one vehicle passes, the loss of sight is tolerable, but if 2 or more hid equipped vehicles come at me at night, the glare and subsequent loss of vision is totally unacceptable.”

“The contact owns a 2004 Lexus LS430. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, he noticed that the headlights were not angled straight and causing limited illumination of the highway ahead of him. In addition, the afs warning light was illuminated on the instrumental panel. The vehicle was inspected by the dealer and they advised him that he would need to replace the height control sensor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and they advised him that they would get back to him in five to seven days. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.”
