“I received a recall in July 2023 recall (23v378). It has now been six months of parking my car outdoors. I have contacted the dealership 3 times to no avail about the repair. Last contact was on 1/24/2024 no returned phone call.”

NHTSA complaint #11567720, filed 2024-01

“The vehicle was recalled. I took the vehicle to the dealer where it was purchased. It was serviced. The engine issue was addressed, so we thought. The repair/replacement parts did not remedy the issue, despite it being in the shop for over 6 months. The problem persists. It is overheating in a 5 minute drive. The local service department is saying there is no other remedy. They keep asking we bring it in for another diagnosis, but the problem is the same as the 47,000 other vehicles that have been recalled by this same issue. We purchased the car and have not been able to use it.”

NHTSA complaint #11725234, filed 2026-03

“I purchased this vehicle less than 30 days. It had 29,257 miles. From day one, the vehicle came with no heating. When you push for heat, the cold AC blows. The part is in national back order. Secondly, when driving car at 20- 45 miles there is vibration, like a window is down when on a highway, but I'm driving in my neighborhood with all windows up. The vibration is unbearable. Thirdly and most importantly, when I slow to break, the car revs up, as if it won't stop. This is very unsettling. I'm never at ease because of this. This is a newer vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11491480, filed 2022-10

“In June of 2023, a potential fire recall was issued. Contacted two dealerships, was told no parts available. In August 2023, a second notice regarding fire (whether car is running or parked). Called dealer and was told “no parts yet, out on wait list, no idea when parts will come in.” Called several times.”

NHTSA complaint #11543352, filed 2023-09

“The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln MKC. The contact stated that the messages Service Advancetrac , Hill Start Assist Not Available , System Off - To Save Battery Please Turn Off Ignition or Start Engine were displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the battery and the battery monitor sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The parts were ordered to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V378000 (Engine); however, the VIN was not included. …”
