“At times, while driving, my engine will stall and slow down regardless if I'm still pressing the gas pedal. I generally shut the engine down and wait like thirty seconds and restart. It is usually ok then until the next episode. I included the last date it happened. It has been doing it over my years of ownership.”

NHTSA complaint #11331216, filed 2020-06, 57,000 miles

“My vehicle suddenly lost power while I was driving on highway. I have to stop vehicle on sideline open the door and start it again for it to start. I didn't ran into this issue for few days but it occurred again today in morning while I was driving. The issue get resolved when I stop the car and start it again and there is no error code or issues that I can use to diagnose and get the issue resolved with car. Sudden loss of power in car is terrifying on highway”

NHTSA complaint #11033120, filed 2017-10, 43,000 miles

“I have noticed a coolant leak that is the result of a faulty water pump design. To make it worse, the rocket scientists at Ford Motor Company buried the water pump internally in the engine. It is a very expensive repair on what should be a component bolted to the exterior of the engine. There are numerous Class Action Lawsuits against FMC for this matter. I think a recall should be issued or compensation for repairs on what is a very expensive endeavor. My wife drives this car. I am going through the repair process. FMC is known to have hidden the problem. …”
