- 10254186Apr 19, 2024Engine cooling. A tapping/rattling noise may be noticed from the valve train area. This operating condition can occur on new vehicles which have been delivered to Mazda dealers (due to loading and unloading from transport trucks or customers moving their vehicles in and out of their garages to wash the vehicle, etc.). This condition may also occur if the engine is not allowed to warm up after multiple cold starts.
- 10254184Apr 17, 2024Latches, locks and linkages, Electrical system. Some customers may experience that the liftgate or the trunk lid will not unlock even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. If the engine is running (POWER ON) or the ignition is turned to on (READY ON), it will unlock. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the DSC HU/CM (or the electronically controlled brake unit) has been modified.

This information will give you the necessary knowledge to respond to customers concerns of Smart Brake Support (SBS) unintended braking.
