2011 MINI Cooper Clubman Technical Service Bulletins
127 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2011 MINI Cooper Clubman. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.
- 10149331Jan 1, 2013Brakes. ABS/DSC Control During Light Braking. When driving slowly over uneven road surfaces, there may sometimes be pre-mature ABS application relative to the driving situation with the brake lightly applied. Software in the Dynamic Stability Control unit (DSC)
- 10149327Jan 1, 2013Engine cooling. Service Action: Retrofit of the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Internal corrosion could form in the engine coolant temperature sensor. This corrosion leads to internal bridging of the contacts, which can cause an inaccurate engine temperature reading. This false reading could lead to difficulty in the engine starting and/or a "Service Engine Soon" lamp being illuminated.
- 10149326Jan 1, 2013Engine cooling.
- 10149325Jan 1, 2013Engine cooling.
- 10149323Jan 1, 2013Engine. Engine Oil Leak. The customer states that a small engine oil leak can be seen from the underside of the engine. CAUSE The internal sealing of the oil pump volume control solenoid valve is compromised, allowing engine oil to leak from the oil pump volume control solenoid.
- 10051918Jan 1, 2013Brakes. Mini: abs/dsc control during light braking. Driving over uneven road surfaces at a slow pace may sometimes cause pre-mature abs application when the brake is lightly applied. Models r55, r56, r57, r58, r59, and r60.
- 10046979Jan 1, 2013Engine, Engine cooling. Mini: when a false reading leads to difficulty in starting engine and causes service engine soon lamp to illuminate, internal corrosion is forming in engine coolant temperature sensor, causing inaccurate engine temperature reading due to bridging of contacts. Models 2010-2012 r55, r56, r57, r58. *pe updated on 4/19/2013.
- 10046940Jan 1, 2013Engine cooling. Mini: inaccurate engine temperature reading due to possible corrosion forming in engine coolant sensors which leads to bridging of contacts causing difficult in starting engine or illumination service engine soon lamp. Models r55, r56, r57, r58. No model years listed. *pe updated on 4/19/2013.
- 10046920Jan 1, 2013Transmission and drivetrain, Engine. Mini: internal bridging of contacts by internal corrosion forming on engine coolant temperature sensor, could give inaccurate engine temperature reading leading to difficulty in starting and/or service engine soon being illuminated. Models 2010-2012 r55, r56, r57, r58. *pe updated on 4/19/2013.
- 10150399Dec 1, 2012Engine cooling. "Service Action: Retrofit of the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Internal corrosion could form in the engine coolant temperature sensor. This corrosion leads to internal bridging of the contacts, which can cause an inaccurate engine temperature reading. This false reading could lead to difficulty in the engine starting and/or a ""Service Engine Soon"" lamp being illuminated."
- 10150357Oct 1, 2012Electrical system. ?SUBJECT DWA (Anti-theft Alarm System): False Alarm Is Triggered Intermittently. When the vehicle is parked and locked (DWA active), the alarm system is triggered intermittently. One or more of the following conditions may trigger the alarm system: Sun roof in the tilted/open position, Window partially open, Excessive local noise (for example, near an airport, on a busy road, or in heavy rain) CAUSE Normal…
- 10150356Oct 1, 2012Electrical system. "Discharged Battery: Energy Diagnosis Must Be Performed. MINI electrical systems and advancements in vehicle technology have resulted in an increased demand on the vehicle battery. This SI will help the dealer handle ""discharged battery"" complaints. A discharged battery can have various causes, most unrelated to the battery. A failed battery is often the symptom and not the cause.
- 10150353Oct 1, 2012Engine cooling.
- 10150352Oct 1, 2012Engine cooling.
- 10150351Oct 1, 2012Engine cooling. "Service Action: Retrofit of the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Internal corrosion could form in the engine coolant temperature sensor. - 10150347Oct 1, 2012Engine cooling. During Engine Oil Service a Small O-Ring Is Found in the Oil Filter Housing. No customer complaint has been received. During the scheduled engine oil service, the technician notices a black rubber o-ring lying on the bottom of the engine oil filter housing. The o-ring has been dislodged from the non-return valve inside the engine oil filter housing. No subsequent engine damage occurs from the dislodged o-ring.
- 10049421Oct 1, 2012Engine, Engine cooling. Mini: engine coolant temperature sensor, now an individual component due to change in wiring harness and replacement of harness has two separate two pin connectors, where one for coolant temperature sensor and other coolant thermostat. All models built up to 3/2012.
- 10044699Jun 1, 2012Engine. Mini: when resealing engine oil pan, engine oil pan gasket replacement should no longer be used due to causing sealing flange becoming deformed. Models r55, r56, r59, r60, r57, and r58. No model years listed.
