“Took car in for safety recall found out that my engine cross member has been rusting there is a safety recall on this issue but was not notified dealership told me that it would be 970.00 to replace this is not my responsibility it's Mitsubishi s should have been recalled before the rust and sealed coated please get back on this issue could have lead to my steering failure and possibly a fatality for me and my family”

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 147,000.”
