“I have two such vehicles. The front brake rotors have warped on both vehicles at 10,000 to 12,000 miles. One vehicle had rotors replaced under warranty. The second vehicle was refused warranty as it was more than two years old. The warranty period was advertised as three years. The rotor warpage issue is a safety issue, irrespective of mileage or age.”

NHTSA complaint #755265, filed 2001-12

“Disc brake rotor on the front left warped, causing a shuddering/shaking under braking. The rotor was replaced under warranty with another oem rotor. No further problems with brakes, but have not accumulated as many miles as the first failure.”

NHTSA complaint #755701, filed 2001-12
