“While driving at higher freeway speed, the CVT automatic transmission remains in high speed, it does not shift into a lower speed when I am trying to slow down the vehicle. There is leakage and burnt smell coming from under the hood. It was tested in two locations and the vehicle has a faulty transmission. Nissan does not offer rebuilt transmissions and used transmissions are just as risky to install. New transmissions are more costly than what the car is worth.”
