“Purchased 2018 Nissan Kicks with 1,000 miles on it on 08/16/19. Has been to dealer twice now. Clicking sound in speedometer area (started 2 days within purchase) which has been complained about 3 times and they keep telling me there is no reason as they cannot hear it (I have videoed numerous times) . Within a week of purchase the a warning sign came onto dash stating unable to detect front crash sensor and within seconds front crash light appeared. At this time I was driving 25-30 MPH and there was not a car in front of me for at least 100 years. …”

NHTSA complaint #11265809, filed 2019-10, 1,300 miles

“Car oversteers, almost rolling over; when on incline or steep driveway, (steep driveway like my home) car rolls back several feet; when shifting from park to reverse, Kicks makes grinding noise and shifts very roughly; have made numerous concerns to Nissan, several near accidents”

NHTSA complaint #11233889, filed 2019-07, 4,000 miles

“Driver side coil spring broke near the lower part of the spring, spring was still seated and operating but rubbing on strut. There was no way to tell that the spring was broken other than the fact that I found the broken piece laying on the ground - so we immediately took it to Nissan to be repaired. This is the second coil spring to break - the passenger spring broke at the same location at around 46,000 miles - again no way to tell that the spring was broken other than the fact that I had visually inspected the car and noticed the spring broken. …”
