“Driving like normal and the car ahead of me slammed on their brakes to avoid a wreck I slammed on mine to prevent this afterward traffic started moving on and the collision and impact sensor came on but I didn't hit anything. I have looked at the manual and it will not tell the owner me how to get the crash light to go off. Even online you can find nothing about how to reset or turn off the alert. The other alert is for the assisted braking feature it didn't work but the light came on but will not go off and there are no instructions on how to reset it or take it off. …”
NHTSA complaint #11279135, filed 2019-11, 12,593 miles“While driving on incline, car will pop malfunction code for emergency braking. Owners manual says to take to dealership. Code is for laser misalignment that controls emergency breaking. Has happened twice, dealership just calibrates laser. Happened again yesterday as well.”
NHTSA complaint #11300523, filed 2020-01, 5,000 miles“While I was driving, I pressed the brake pedal. As soon as I applied the brakes, the vehicle abruptly screeched to a halt in a manner that felt abnormal and uncontrollable. Immediately after this sudden stop, the vehicle lost stability. It slid sideways, causing it to rotate and end up facing in a different direction than the one I had been traveling.”
NHTSA complaint #11704519, filed 2025-12“Recently had brake sytem replaced and it was done incorrectly. Almost had a wreck and issue has drained my battery and cauing issues to alternator too. Constantly having issues with heat and now my AC. Have to constantly pay diagnostic charges. Request drive belt be replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #11515274, filed 2023-04“It all started when the electrical system just shut down. Then I had issues with the door locks not working and that electrical system not working. Then the car just stopping - shut off while driving. That was the worst. It just shut off and I could not get it to start again until I let it sit for a few minutes. Spent thousands of dollars on what the Nissan dealers said was wrong, but the issues just kept happening. Now all the lights on the dashboard are lit up, ABS, sensor, tracking, warning. I am attaching a picture for review. …”
