“As a precautionary measure, I replaced a toyo tire (with less than 35,000 miles on it) on my 1999 Maxima. An exterior bubble began to appear in the sidewall of the passenger-side right front tire.”

The contact stated that the two front tires cracked on the sidewalls and the tread. The tires were purchased in may of 2007. The contact has pictures. The DOT was unknown. The tire failure mileage was 2,000. The vehicle failure mileage was 128,000 and current mileage was 129,000. Updated 10/23/07”

We went to a good year dealer and they indicated that they do not know what caused the tare. Two month later while washing the car we found two more tires torn the same way the previous tire was torn. The Nissan dealer service department says that this is a good year problem. The good year dealer service people are saying they do not know what causes this tare. We could have here a similar problem with a poorley manufactered tire which is a danger to my life and many other american. …”
