Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The contact owns a 2006 Pilgrim international Open Road camper rv with the original dometic refrigerator, model number m-332rks-5. The contact stated that the refrigerator was repaired under a manufacturer recall in which a secondary shield was installed around the burner. The contact was concerned that with the remedy, gas could still leak and cause a fire. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that they would only do a secondary re-enforcement, but not repair the possible leak. The refrigerator was not further repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.”
