“When vehicle crashed into the front passenger's side of a 1999 blazer, traveling at 55 MPH, there was no deployment of driver's side air bag. Also, entire front end of the Acclaim was smashed, and the Acclaim was totalled.”
NHTSA complaint #859722, filed 2000-04“While traveling approx. 8-10mph, had rearended vehicle in front. Upon impact, the driver's air bag deployed with excessive force. This caused injury to driver. Hand slammed into windshield & broke the knuckle.also, sustained upper body bruises.”
