“Brakes failed to work right when my boyfriend wrecked the car which then made him hit the guard rail. The air bags didn't come out. We contacted the place we got the car from but they could not tell us anything. Then the transmission went out of it on october 1, 2003. The whole transmission exploded. We were told the place we bought it from did not put in new clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearings in when we had just bought it. We had told them the clutch was making noise. NHTSA complaint #770456, filed 2002-12

“I was rear ended by another car going 35mph and it pushed my car forward smashing the front of my car as well as the back. Neither airbag deployed in my car, but both in the car that hit me.”

NHTSA complaint #724122, filed 2000-06

“I would like to inform anyone and everyone about the continued injustice the air bags that we ought to have the right to disconnect these dangerous hazards. I was driving into a gas station with my one year old daughter inthe rear child seat when I was exiting the station I hit a sewage grate and my airbags deployed, thank god I wasnt on a major interstate or it would have been fatal. If you could examine the airbag issue again I would certainly appreciate. So that no one has to die due to car manufacturers greed of more profit.”
