“This problem started on long trips, the vehicle would quit while driving and we would have to pull over to side of road and it would restart, this happened atleast on 4 trips and 3-5 times on those trips. We had an entended warrenty and took it in the first time it happened and the following times, the dealer, krenzens continued to say that it didn't show up on their computers, they said until it happened more frequently they couldn't do anything about it. …”
NHTSA complaint #540292, filed 1998-08“This is a continual problem since I took ownership in march 2000. It started w/ the service engine soon light occasionally turning on. After having the vehicle looked at - they could find no problem. As time passed, the light came on more & more frequently. The engine then began to idle high and would go into a super idle where I would have to nearly stand on the brake pedal to stop the forward motion at a stop. Ow the service engine soon light is coming on constantly and the vehicle stalls constantly. I drive a total of 10 miles to work & this vehicle will now stall a min. Of 5x each way. …”
