Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Heard a ticking noise while driving. Pulled over, on freeway. It was not a safe situation parked on side of a major freeway. Turned off car to look around the engine and found nothing. Started the car again and it died within 5 seconds. The electric system completely died after and would not crank. Got it towed to dealer after waiting for tow truck 3 hours. I was really scared sitting in my that someone would crash into me. Dealer has now the engine apart diagnosing it. It is a failed engine and will need a brand new motor.”
