Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Shortly after taking delivery of this Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle (purchased April 25, 2022, from Porsche Nashua, Nashua, NH), the backup/parking sensors failed to sound. While reversing at home, I waited for the audible warning beep that never came and slowly backed into my own parked 2017 Porsche 911. The Cayenne's door was dented; the 911 was undamaged. A functioning parking sensor system would have warned me and prevented this collision. The vehicle had passed the Porsche Approved CPO multi-point inspection, which is supposed to cover these safety systems. …”

“On August 21 2021, I was out shopping. When I went out to return home, the car would not start. I could not jump start it or anything. I had it towed to the dealer. I found out from Porsche and dealership that my car was disabled by Porsche Connect. I do not have this service or pay for it. On Friday Sept 3, I was informed by Porsche customer service that it disabled my car because the original owner (in 2015) changed their phone number. So Porsche assumed stolen and shut down. I did not authorize this, I did not sign up for this service. …”
