What NHTSA recorded

On certain fifth wheel trailers, a jumper wire between the two neutral bars is not of adequate gauge.

Possible consequence

This condition, if not addressed, could result in an electrical fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the 12/14 gauge jumper wire with a 6 gauge jumper wire free of charge. The recall began on september 1, 2006. Owners may contact jayco at 1-800-283-8267.
