What NHTSA recorded
If the clutch cable was forcefully pulled or pushed upon during the crating process at the factory, the clutch cable may have become dislodged from its cable retainer. It may contact the carburetor throttle shaft connector and prevent the throttle plates from returning to idle.
Remedy
Dealer will install an additional clutch cable retainer to prevent dislodgement at no cost to owner.
