What NHTSA recorded
The rear view is not large enough and fails to meet federal motor vehicle safety standard 111, "rear view mirrors", which states that a mirror must have no less than 12.5 square inches of surface.
Remedy
The dealer will replace the original mirror free of charge to owners.
