What NHTSA recorded

The "o" rings of the regulator assembly in the onan emerald and marquis brand generator sets can weaken and break when exposed to high ambient temperatures.

Possible consequence

If an ignition source is present, liquid propane gas (lpg) leakage could result in a fire.

Remedy

Owner notification will be conducted by onan. Dealers will either remove the lpg regulator and replace it with a model not subject to rupture, or install a pre-regulator in the fuel system.

Affected model years

Pages for each model year show complaints, parts, mileage and other recalls.
