Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks equipped with steering columns supplied by douglas autotec. The steering columns on these vehicles may have a defective or dislocated weld.

Possible consequence

If the steering column broke, a complete loss of steering control could occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the lower steering shaft assembly.
