“Takata recalls. The service ESC and traction off indicator light keep coming on. Several months ago, as I was driving home the dash board lights went off and came back on. Even the speed odometer acted up. Several months ago, the car would not reverse,it made a sound when I did backed back. Now, every time I put gas in my car, I have to keep pumping the gas peddle as I'm turning the key to start it up. The right front and side signal lights don't don't don't work”

NHTSA complaint #11014085, filed 2017-08, 136,000 miles

“I would be bopping along on the highway, then all of a sudden, the check engine and reduced eng pwr messages appeared on the driver information console. On my way home from work the other day after the rain storm, I was driving on I-95 and all of the a sudden received several error messages in the dic: -service traction -eng pwr reduced the check engine and tc-disabled indicators remained lit. So I limped the rest of the way home on what felt like two-cylinders. …”

“I had my 2007 AURA for 1 week when driving a freeway, the car would not shift past 4th gear. I took it in for service and the technician found strange particles in the gears. He described it as small white plastic pieces. No explanation where they came from or what they were. He had never seen this before. The AURA, while not leaving me stranded has always has a poltergeist , lights not functioning properly, engine lights coming on and off and no repairs needed, etc. …”

NHTSA complaint #10628973, filed 2014-08, 100 miles

“I have a 2007 Saturn AURA xe my problem is the seat motors housing driver side are starting to come apart when I move seat up/down the parts make a grinding noise and the frame is poking through the seat on the left back side lower cushion that is sticking me in the butt when I get into car .also the front brakes get really shaky when I have to stop suddenly on rough roads pedal seems to go to floor and brakes make loud clunking noise its a little scary to say the least. …”

NHTSA complaint #10536096, filed 2013-08, 61,325 miles

“Since new, we have had passenger air bag issues, ie: not sensing an adult passenger. Brakes have been operating poorly, with rear pads wearing out, and front not. Four new master cylinders, pads & rotors with no improvement. Now mid 2018, strong gasoline smell from under rear of vehicle. I have seen where other saturns, have a fuel leak relating to the fuel pump fuel lines. I suspect the same for our car. Doesn't matter how full the tank is, and of course it is parked. Should be a recall on this defect. We live in texas where it is hot. We now have about 130,000miles on the car.”
