2009 Saturn Aura Technical Service Bulletins

1,015 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2009 Saturn Aura. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10030749May 1, 2009Latches, locks and linkages, Body and structure. Pontiac/chevrolet/saturn: the rear door will not open from either the inside or outside handle (door unlocked). If the outside door handle rod is mis adjusted when the door is locked then closed, the locking mechanism internal to the latch may not be able to release.
• 10030746May 1, 2009Electrical system. Chevrolet/opel/saturn/cadillac/pontiac: a low battery condition on any of the above listed vehicles could potentially cause the sir light to come. The sdm under low power situations could set codes b0083 and b0084.
• 10030745May 1, 2009Other or unknown. Pontiac/saturn/chevrolet: a traction control light comes on. After further investigation a c0561-71 code may be the only code stored in the ebcm. Check to see if there is any other codes stored anywhere else on the vehicle. If there are, then diagnose them first.
• 10030729May 1, 2009Transmission and drivetrain. Saturn/chevrolet/gmc/buick/pontiac: ses light and/or no reverse; a slip/flare or harsh shifts in drive range 3rd and/or 5th gear. Codes p0776 clutch pressure control (pc) solenoid 2 - stuck off and p0842 transmission fluid pressure (tfp) switch 1 circuit low voltage may be set.
• 10030649May 1, 2009Steering. General motors: inconsistent power steering assist. A scan tool may show dtc c0545 stored in history. Some electronic power steering columns that were installed in these vehicles, produced in the subject time frame, may have an intermittent internal wiring condition causes dtc c0545 to set intermittently.
• 10030685Apr 1, 2009Fuel system, Engine cooling. Saturn/pontiac/chevrolet: the fuel gauge does not rise above the 3/4 mark after a fill up or the fuel gauge appears stuck. An illumination of the check engine light. On rare occasions, the fuel gauge does not read the correct level which may result in a no start condition due to a low fuel level.

• 10028764Oct 1, 2008Engine cooling. General motors: no crank/no comm with u2106, u2108, u2109 (le5 only). This condition has been identified as a loose ground g105 behind the a/c compressor.

General motors: on some of these vehicles, transient voltage surges from the engine cooling fans may be transmitted through the engine wiring harness. This bulletin provides service procedure to install two jumper harnesses with diodes on certain vehicles with automatic transmission.
• 10026669Sep 1, 2008Transmission and drivetrain. Gmc: intermittent ses light, dtc p2101 with potentially multiple other dtc's set. This condition could be caused by a pcm circuit shorted to ground.
• 10026652Aug 1, 2008Transmission and drivetrain, Electrical system. Gmc: malfunction indicator lamp on. The transmission control module (tcm) will not operate as a result of system voltage spikes which will affect communication lines.
