2001: “I was attempting to park when I heard this awful noise coming from the vehicle and the vehicle appear to take on a mind of its own, not responding even though I floored the brake pedal. Fortunately I was parking and was stopped by the protective posts of a fire-hydrant. I had to be taken to the emergeny room for attention. While I did not sustatin any broken limbs, I suffered extreme lower back and knee pain; my left side especially shoulder side and base of neck in addition to pain in the braking foot and leg and burns from the seatbelt.”
