2014: “While driving in heavy rain at highway speed my wipers went all the way to the driver's side of the windshield, and stopped there. Thor once replaced them but about a year later the new wiper assembly did the same thing under the same conditions. Through online forums I know that several others with the same model motor home have experienced the same occurrence. I can supply their names.”

NHTSA complaint #10909412, filed 2016-09, 36,000 miles

2016: “The wiper blades malfunction. When driving with the wipers on, the right wiper gets stuck under the left wiper and both become inoperable. We have been caught in heavy rains several times with the same results. I went from 26 inch wiper blades to 21 inch blades and the same thing happened. I have removed the right side wiper, and use the left wiper sparingly. It has happened when I am driving 65 MPH and when I have seen stationary. I have discovered that many people are having the same problem. My only solution is I have been using rainx. …”

NHTSA complaint #11141597, filed 2018-10, 16,782 miles

2017: “On 04/16/2018at approximately 1:15 while traveling west on I-40 midway between mile marker238and236i heard a loud noise from the left side of the coach. I immediately looked in the left hand mirror, and saw what I thought was the battery compartment door, open, flapping in the breeze. I was approching exit236, so I exited and located a home depot parking lot just off the exit. I pulled into the home depot parking lot and upon checking the battery compartment door, found that the door was secured. What I saw was in fact, the battery compartment door skin. …”
