“On february 2nd 2020 as I was traveling on I-75 south heading home from cincinnati through kentucky at about mile marker 104 in kentucky we heard a rattling noise and a window on the driver side of my vehicle simply fell out onto the highway. Thank goodness no one was next to me or this could have been a serious accident. I immediately pulled over and walked back to where the window fell out and found a couple of pieces of the frame which I kept. I drove to exit 102 where I pulled off and found a place to park so that I could tarp over the window and continue on my way home”

“The entry door latch had a piece of plastic that broke off and got stuck and prevented us from opening the door. A locksmith gained entry and removed the plastic piece. My understanding is that this is an ongoing problem with thor motorhomes that has not been addressed by the manufacturer. We could have gotten stuck inside during a life safety emergency. I called the manufacturer and they said they would note it in our file. That doesn't help anyone else.there are a number of thor owners who have had this problem and posted on the thor motorhome owners facebook page.”

NHTSA complaint #10995416, filed 2017-06, 11,300 miles

“S10 appropriate handling - enclosing a list of major issues with the 2016 thor Miramar 34.4 motor home. The consumer stated the right side windsheild wiper traveled to far to the left and would get stuck. The wiper was repaired 3 times, but the failure recurred. The defroster motor quit, driver seat was not securely fastened to the floor, the main slide-out leaked, the furnace failed due to water on the motorboard, the water heater failed, the passenger side window was not sealed, water valve failed, awnining hardware was broken, and the entrance door lock failed.”
