“Starter cross shaft outboard support bearings in transmission and crankcase. Intake/exhaust valves beyond minimum lash, caused by faulty engine ecu. Faulty ecu, can not be read or accessed by factory diagnostic tool , creating excessive exhaust heat burning holes in bodywork, possible fires and burning legs of rider. Dealer will only agree to customer payment of complete overhaul and replacement of faulty ecu which has had this problem since new. Estimates exceed vehicle value. Certified letters, phone calls and emails to north american distributor go unanswered.”
