“I would be driving and everything would start flickering and the door locks would be going up and down, I had no control on the gas but I could brake. So I pulled over and turned the truck off and I was unable to restart the truck - this has now happened twice within 2 weeks. The first time this had happened on may 21st, 2016 - I was in a parking lot in san leandro, the second time this happened I was on the highway driving straight.”
NHTSA complaint #10872850, filed 2016-06, 121,000 miles“This vehicle continuously, when it feels like it, activates the check engine lite with the error codes, 2135,c2101,0300,1516. These codes puts the engine in 'reduced power mode' and at any time. It is very similar to the GM tech bulletin 11-06-04-007b and 11273, but this vehicle ' is not covered. It was in the shop several times with this problem with out a fix, but now I feel it is getting worse and is now a bad safety issue. This can happen at any time, while cruising, at an intersection or anytime it feels like it. And it happens frequently.”
