“My Victory v92c with 12000 miles on it will slip out of 3rd gear. Also has a hard time finding neutral and sometimes slips into neutral while shifting. This has been going on for about 3 months now and I would estimate has happened about 50 times. It has gotten to the point now that I just skip 3rd gear and go to 4th.”

NHTSA complaint #10174111, filed 2006-11, 35 miles

“Several times in last year I have experienced neutral shifts when going from 2 cd gear to 3 rd gear , 6 times the transmissin felt like it shift from 2 cd to 3 rd but had not shifted at all and was still in 2 cd gear , giving me feeling rear tire was starting to lockup while I was letting out the clutch .”

NHTSA complaint #10098157, filed 2004-11, 5,000 miles

“I purchased my 2000 v92c used. It had 7500 miles on it. After putting on 2200 miles the transmission began to act up. It would kick down from third to second surprising the hell out of me! To keep this from occurring I typically attempted to keep my toes underneath the shifter thus, keeping the trans from kicking down to 2nd gear. On rare occasions the trans would kick down to 3rd from 4th. On only one occasion have I had the trans slip from 4th to 2nd. This happened in traffic and scared the lady behind me quite abit.I notified my dealer about it and he was surprised. …”
