“The following problem has occurred twice, most recently today. Car does not turn on, and epc and engine light flash. The first time this occurred on 9/917, I called a tow. When the tow arrived, the car turned on and I drove it to the dealership, which checked it over and found no problems. Yesterday, I was driving the car home and made a stop at the post office. When I returned to the car, it would not turn on. I left it where I had parked it, returned to it 3 hours later but it still would not turn on. Am having it towed to the dealership today. …”

The mechanic came and looked at the car with a scanner and deemed the accident to be not my fault. The mechanic thought according the the information on the scanner that there was some electrical interference that caused the throttle to open. …”

“Driving south on GA Hwy. 21 on 8.28.22 the vehicle began leaking gas from the left rear. There were no warning lamps or messages showing. My husband was following in another vehicle is the only way I found out. At the time, I was driving about 60 mph in clear conditions, light traffic. A certified mechanic identified the problem. When I called the closest VW dealership, they informed me that they did not have the parts in stock (fuel tank, $943; fuel pump, $694). Numerous sources on the internet identify the identical problem with videos. …”
