“First of all the tekata airbags are a recall. The fuel pump module. It all started woh phen the fuel pump modules failed and the car would turn on but turn right off and I was told it was the fuel pump modules when I had it diagnosed. Now it leaks out a lot of gas in four different spots under the car on passengers side. When we parked the car we started noticing this 4 months ago.”

I have done everything that I can to try and get my vehicle repaired to safety, but vw refuses to comply with the recall.”

The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v079000 (air bags) for the frontal driver air bag inflator. The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called the local dealer (donaldsons Volkswagen located on 5700 sunrise hwy, sayville, ny, 11782) and was informed that parts were unavailable. …”
