Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving the driver's seat back moves backward, sometimes causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The console controls for the window were positioned at the center instead of at the dashboard and were inconvenient both for the driver and passenger. Placing an object on the center console also changes the control of the side view mirrors.”

NHTSA complaint #565479, filed 2002-04

“Two headlamps at different times blew out prematurely. Replace rear brake pads bothe sides. It has been admitted that the size of the rear brakes are too small.”

NHTSA complaint #9004337, filed 2001-08
