“Consumer is having problems with head gasket. Other problems are as followed: power steering, the engine stalled due to a loose wire, multiple re-alignments, the u-bolt pops in the front and had broken in the rear, and the steer tire is wearing on the outside.”
NHTSA complaint #565156, filed 2001-08, 110,000 miles“The weight of the truck caused many problems, Volvo replaced the front springs with heavier ones, the ride height and rear end pitch was adjusted several times, the air rod and air ride valve were replaced, rear axle was aligned, vehicle experienced high tire wear, vibration continued to occur after several attempts to remedy the problem, vehicle was eventually turned back in.”
