Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Exhaust flex pipe developed a hole causing an exhaust leak which in turn prevented the truck from cleaning the particulate filter. This in turn created extra work on the turbo which became heated beyond normal temperatures which caused the plastic wheel well to melt. Vital components in the area of the extreme heat were at risk of failure due to this extreme heat cause by the backup in the exhaust system.”
