“I was driving along the highway and suddenly my car just quit running...in the middle of a busy highway...I didn't know what to do...2 nice men pushed me over into the turn lane to be out of the road...my windows worked, lights and so I knew it wasn't the battery...it just wouldn't start....actually this had happened a couple of weeks before, however, after letting it sit about 5 min. …”
NHTSA complaint #10732036, filed 2015-07, 95,000 miles“I have had the same failure 3 times with this car. Started car up after it was sitting in parking lot on a very hot day. Within 1-2 miles started experiencing inability to roll windows up or down, car started losing power and instrument control panel went blank. I was able to get the car safety off the road. It would not start until the next morning. It has been towed twice. The last time to a Volvo dealer who could not replicate the failure; no codes were stored or found. The car is back to running great...until the next time it dies.”
